the short answer is yes. U, many people that have hard water need more maintenance than usual. We like to say in our area here in Lincoln, California, water heater maintenance is necessary for every six months. Especially if you have a tankless water heater, a lot of people ask me, "When should I get this done?" And I always say just schedule every six months. Once you do it one time, go six months out and then six months from there. And just uh keep it clean.
