What temperature should I set my water heater to? - Executive Plumbing Lincoln, CA

Answer

What temperature should my water heater to be set at? Most of the time I like to say it's personal preference. The sweet spot is 125 to 130. Um if you do like a lot a lot of people like hotter water and there is a factor of keeping the bacteria in your waters um you know killed which would be at 140 degrees which is really hot but some people um prefer that. So 125 130 is kind of like a normal usage, but 140 will maintain and kill bacteria and is is optimal in that sense.
